TOUR SUMMARY
Join us on the only fun and educational ultimate Black culture experience providing a rare look into local livelihoods, arts, traditions, stories and cultures that contribute to Philly's most impacted communities, and impactful local heroes and celebrities.
This tour begins with love at the iconic LOVE Park with brief intros before immersing ourselves in the heartbeat of the city. Enjoy the sights of larger-than-life Black murals, taste the native's favorite seasonal snacks and get lost in the soundtrack of Black Philadelphia's language especially the use of the word "jawn" with Chrissy, a native Black storyteller, friend, mom, photographer and hood advocate. On this "life of a local" style walking and public transportation tour through West + "Norf" Philly, guests will hear stories and engage in conversations from untold Black history from the Great Migration to the hot topics that shape everyday lives of Black humans today (like why that hat went up and that chair came down) plus support family-owned businesses important to the area for over 50 years. Great for solo travelers, schools, reunions, new locals, conferences, families, flight attendants, travel nurses and more!
Save Time & See More
Only here for a layover or short weekend? Experience more Black murals, businesses, stories, and communities than any other tour or trip to Philadelphia. One price includes guide, bus pass, and snacks.
Craving non-touristy Philadelphia?
The same "alternative facts" being written in our history books are the same "stories" told during the white-washed "history" tours in downtown Philadelphia. Our tour is curated to counter that narrative.
Small Groups…Big Impact
Hosted by introverts, we believe in quality over quantity. We limit this tour to 10 adults which allows an intimate experience with more bonding time with your guide, fellow guests and the locals all while directly support the Black community.
No Hidden Cost
This tour is all inclusive. Once booked, your One Day bus pass and snacks are provided at no cost. You can even use your pass after the tour, saving you even more money during your stay.
Free Cancellation
Book today knowing that you secure your spot on this small group tour. Cancel anytime up to 72 hours in advance for a full refund. Full refund also provided if host have to cancel for any reason.
